It's safe to say that Kresley Cole's Immortals After Dark series is so iconic, even years after the initial release of the first book, The Warlord Wants Forever. And knowing that we can't get enough of it all, she's now expanding it even further with a brand new series that is not only taking a whole new look at the world where she's raising the stakes and the heat.
Cosmopolitan is officially revealing the first book in the new Immortals Untold series, Ravenous, which is set to be released on May 19, 2026. Here's some more info from our friends at Bloom Books:

Krelsey says the spark of the new series came about when she was coming up with ideas that wouldn't fit into the Immortals After Dark history.
"Working on two series has always helped me creatively as a writer, so I decided to leap with this one," she admitted. "Enter the Skein—half heaven, half hell, and so much fun to write!"
With a new series, comes some new changes, which even surprised Kresley as she was writing.
"The format is different in this series, following several protagonists, which has been an absolute delight to plot and to brainstorm. I couldn’t wait to get back to the desk and pen more adventures for these characters. I think I shocked them, and they certainly shocked me!"
And, yes, she's really taking things to a whole new level, especially after getting to go above and beyond with her original series.
"When I was just starting my writing journey, publishing houses searched for “the really books”—stories that were either really funny, or really sexy, or really scary, or really angsty," she said. "I loved that idea, but I wanted to read and write books that were all of the above! That was my goal with Immortals Untold—to up the ante and amplify the really."
Those who are new to the world won't have to worry much, as these will focus on new characters who are born into an alternative timeline.
"This new world is what happened when Nïx the Ever Knowing, a Valkyrie soothsayer and the most popular character in the Immortals After Dark series, decided to take a different path thousands of years ago, and one tiny variation shuffled distant immortal worlds."
And for those hardcore fans, while some familiar faces might pop in now and then, you won't have to worry about your favorites!
"Yes [familiar faces will appear], but very sparingly, and no past love stories will be undone," she continued. "That was so important to me because those heroes and heroines earned their happily ever afters!"
