Victoria Beckham just ~broke her silence~ on the ongoing, truly never-ending, drama with her son, Brooklyn Beckham. The fashion designer and forever Spice Girl just did an interview with WSJ. Magazine, and naturally they asked about Brooklyn. Shockingly, she answered the question pretty candidly—but did not “reply with his name.”
“I think that we’ve always—we love our children so much,” she said. “We’ve always tried to be the best parents that we can be. And you know, we’ve been in the public eye for more than 30 years right now, and all we’ve ever tried to do is protect our children and love our children.”
Victoria then added, “And you know, that’s all I really want to say about it,” noting that her business hasn’t been impacted by all the drama and that “I think that ultimately people are buying my product because the product is really good. I don’t think they’re buying my eyeliner just because it’s me.”
In case you blocked it out and/or it already left your brain to make room for Summer House drama, reminder that several months ago, Brooklyn hopped on Instagram and accused his parents of trying to ruin his relationship.
He accused his mom, specifically, of canceling plans to make Nicola Peltz’s dress at the “eleventh hour,” and of calling him “evil” over wedding seating drama, and “hijacking” his first dance, and of inviting “women from my past into our lives in ways that were clearly intended to make us both uncomfortable.”
He ended his statement saying, “I have been controlled by my parents for most of my life. I grew up with overwhelming anxiety. For the first time in my life, since stepping away from my family, that anxiety has disappeared.
It’s truly been a whole thing!
