Odessa A’zion has consistently been one of the best-dressed celebrities throughout Moira Rose’s favorite season (awards), and her Oscars look is no exception. The Marty Supreme star arrived on the red carpet wearing an embellished black gown with a plunging neckline, paired with Pandora jewelry.

Marty Supreme is nominated in nine categories including Best Picture, and while Odessa didn’t pick up a nomination herself, she’s absolutely thrilled to be part of the incredible cast.

“I still feel like I’m pinching myself, and it makes me very emotional,” she told Elle. “I feel so honored to be in the presence of all these incredible creatives, and for them to even think about me in that way, and for people to even think to text me and say, ‘I’m sorry, you deserved it,’ or ‘You were snubbed.’ I don’t know how to find the right word. ‘Grateful’ is not enough, and ‘honored’ is not enough. It’s like, Josh saw something in me and believed in me and allowed me to be a part of what I feel like is his masterpiece.”

As for her huge spotlight right now, she said, “I’m uncomfortable; I’m scared. But I’m also so insanely grateful and excited for the future of my career, doing projects that I really care about and want to do. I’m excited for hopefully, knock on wood, the potential of having the career and working on the projects I always wanted to work on. I haven’t had the opportunity to have a selection process until now. Now that there’s this opportunity where I can say ‘No,’ it’s scary. I am a major people pleaser. And saying no is so hard, because I don’t want to upset anybody. I don’t want anybody to feel like I don’t fuck with them or their project or their idea.”

Can’t wait to see what she does next, tbh!
