Variety breaks the news that White Lotus season 2 has added Meghann Fahy and Leo Woodall to the cast along with Theo James and Will Sharpe. Filming begins in Sicily this same month, so seems safe to assume this is when Meghann and Leo meet.
September 2022
Speculation about these two reaches fever pitch when Leo drops a buncha photos featuring Meghann, which he captions, "That's amore." She then responds, "I love you! I love these! I love you! 😘 ♥️ " and he replies, "Love you right back."

Meghann drops these pics from filming The White Lotus in Sicily, and Leo hits the caption with "💣🐚."

Andy Cohen asks Meghann about rumors she's dating Leo during her appearance on Watch What Happens Live, and she says, "Oh, I don't kiss and tell. Come on, guys."

February was a really busy month for the pair (sigh… awards szn). But, first, Leo tells The Guardian that he’s “experienced crumbs of what famous people experience” and said that, in 2023, he and Meghann were followed by a photographer who “cycled from block to block to block, trying to remain hidden.”
The couple is then spotted at Jimmy Kimmel Live on February 8:
And, during an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Leo reflects on his private life, saying, “I hang tight to the best people in my life, and I don’t get too attached to the hoo-ha of the business. I think the work is the reason why we do this, and aside from that, there’s some fun to be had. But apart from that, it’s pretty much just family and the cozy parts of life that are the things that I cherish most.”
It isn’t until February 20 that the pair go Instagram official on Meghann’s account, and some of us (me) decide to read into things and speculate that this could be the anniversary of when they first met. (Psst: Leo playfully comments “Who is he?!” on this photo.)

During an interview with Elle UK, Leo offers some very rare insight into his ’ship with Meghann. “We’re very good at keeping it as private as we can,” he says. “To me, that’s the only way. You see public relationships all the time slapped over social media, and I can’t imagine that’s any fun.”
On the 12th, Meghann and Leo attend a Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy special screening together and the photos are precious.

During an interview with Marie Claire Australia, Meghann revealed Leo gave her a gift with a major typo.
“It was a Christmas present from my boyfriend,” Meghann said of her pink T-shirt with two embroidered heads. “He got me merch. It’s a photo of the two of us when we met.”
She explained, “It says Sicily 2024, but the year is a typo. It should say 2022.”

During a January 3o appearance on Penn Badgley’s Podcrushed podcast, Meghann revealed how she and Leo met on the set ofThe White Lotus and eventually started dating.
“I was there before him for a bit,” she said, admitting that she “genuinely” was trying to be friends. “When he got there, I saw him in the little area where we would have lunch, and I gave him my number.”
“I don’t want you to be lonely or feel like you don’t fit in,” she explained. “I was like, ‘You’re new here.’ I totally know how it is to show up late to something. It sucks. It’s like everyone's been at camp without you, and they already made friends, and it can be quite vulnerable.”
A few months later, their platonic connection turned romantic. “He was like, ‘I didn’t know that you were interested in me,’ and I was like, ‘I gave you my number. How did you not know that?’” she said.
“He was like, ‘I didn't think you meant that. I didn’t think you actually were giving me your number because you wanted to be friends with me.’ I was like, ‘Why else?’”
