It's official! After seven years away from Greggs stores, a legendary bake will be returning this autumn, when the new menu lands on 3 September.
On their Instagram yesterday (20 August) Greggs confirmed the iconic steak and stilton bake would be coming back for the autumn menu.
In a gallery post, the chain kept fans guessing until the very end by revealing other new items before finally confirming the bake would be returning in less than two weeks.
Featuring diced beef cooked in a rich gravy, Blue Stilton cheese and grilled onions, and encased in Greggs signature puff pastry topped with black pepper crumb, the bake is perfect for chillier autumn days.
And it's safe to say fans across social media have been praising its return. On Facebook one fan commented: "oh my god steak and stilton bakes are back!" and another said: "Yayyyy steak and stilton is finally returning, buzzing."
It's not the only item arriving to stores from 3 September. Also new to the menu are drinks including the Pumpkin Spiced Iced Matcha, Iced Caramel Chocolate, Iced and Hot Pumpkin Spice Latte with Salted Caramel Drizzle, Iced Mocha and Iced Chocolate.
Everyone's clicking on...
And food wise there's also plenty of other treats available too including the Vanilla Custard Cream Doughnut, Pumpkin Spice Doughnut, Bonfire Toffee Muffin, Chicken and Pepperoni Pizza Toastie, Buffalo Chicken Baguette, and Buffalo Chicken Pizza.
Ok, is everyone else ready for autumn now?
