Ever since I started begging my older sister to let me read her Cosmos, I’ve associated both the magazine and the drink with the elegance and confidence that comes with womanhood. Now as editor-in-chief, my goal is always to create that feeling in everything we do. One of my favorite moments so far was our 60th anniversary celebration, where we officially reinstated that bold, gorgeous Cosmo red. What better way to celebrate that than with a cherry-red Cosmo? This recipe from our friends at Delish is my quick but delicious go-to and I know it’ll be yours too. Cheers to being a Cosmo girl.
Ingredients

fresh cherries
- 4 oz.
citrus vodka
- 2 oz.
Cointreau
- 2 oz.
tart cherry juice
Juice of 1 lime
Ice
Cocktail Skewers
Directions
- Step 1Spear three fresh cherries on each cocktail skewer.
- Step 2Add vodka, Cointreau, cherry juice, and lime juice to a cocktail shaker and fill with ice. Shake until well chilled.
- Step 3Strain drink into a martini glasses and garnish with fresh cherries.
