Although Kimothée just made a public appearance at a Yankees game in New York City on Wednesday, October 8, breakup rumors have been circulating, as sources claim that the pair have been experiencing a rift in their relationship.
According to the Daily Mail, “Their opposing views on marriage and settling down have allegedly driven a wedge between them.” With Timmy’s upcoming awards campaign for his new movie, Marty Supreme, as well as his stacked filming schedule for Dune 3, a source told the outlet that the Oscar nominee has his sights set on his career.
“Timothée was on the brink of calling it quits with Kylie,” the insider said, adding, “His career is skyrocketing and the last thing he wants right now is to be a father.”
However, Kylie—who shares two children with her ex, Travis Scott—is ready to “be married and have a family,” according to a second source.
“Marriage and children have been discussed, and they aren’t on the same page on timing because he is actively pursuing his career,” they said, adding that the Kylie Cosmetics mogul “won’t wait forever.”
They continued, “He still wants to build the foundation of his career before he settles down, but Kylie is ready to lock down. She already has her career, all the money in the world, kids. She now wants to be married and have a family with Timothée.”
Kylie and Timmy’s outing on October 8 marks the first time they’ve been publicly seen with each other in two months, but as a source previous told People, fans have no reason to believe things are rocky between the pair.
“They haven’t seen each other for a few weeks only because Timothée’s been filming Dune in a studio in Budapest, and Kylie’s been working too,” the insider said back in August, clarifying that “she visited him in July.”
The source also noted that “even though Kylie has a private jet, the flight is still 12 hours. She’s a mom and she works as well. She has a lot of responsibilities in L.A. Timothée’s schedule is grueling, with very little downtime. They’re making it work though. They FaceTime most days. They miss each other and are totally fine.”
