Sofía Vergara was scheduled to present an award at the 2025 Emmys but ended up skipping the show and spending the night in the emergency room. Apparently, the Modern Family star was all dressed up and heading out the door when her eye started having an allergic reaction.
“Didn’t make it to the Emmys but made it to the ER 🤣😩” she explained on Instagram along with a photo of her eye and videos at the ER. “sorry I had to cancel! Craziest eye allergie [sic] right before getting in the car!🤣🤣”
Yikes, hopefully she’s all better soon.
Soooo, what else is new with Sofía? She appears to be dating 39-year-old businessman Douglas Chabbott, and they were recently seen attending an Oasis concert together.
Sofía spoke about what she’s looking for in her next relationship on the Today show (per People) saying, “I want to say the basic stuff, like health and somebody that loves me. And somebody tall, handsome. I want somebody that has as much money as me or more, because if not, it’s a nightmare. They end up resenting you.”
The actor added that she wants “somebody fun” and said, “I’ve been single now for a year and a half, and I kind of panicked once I got divorced. I was like, ‘I’m 52, what’s gonna happen? Where am I going to find [someone]?’ I’m not really in a hurry anymore.”
