Kylie Jenner attended the Oscars with Timothée Chalamet on Sunday night, and while she didn't walk the red carpet, she spent almost the entire ceremony by his side in the front row. Where, per usual, the vibe was pretty much this:

But Kylie switched seats right before the Best Actor category was announced, moving to a spot right behind Timothée so that his mom, Nicole Flender, could sit by her son's side. And apparently the move wasn't planned—instead, Kylie offered to switch seats with Nicole for the moment.

“Timothée didn’t ask Kylie to switch seats with his mom but he thought it was such a sweet and thoughtful gesture,” a source tells Page Six. “Kylie is so proud of Timothée despite losing the best actor award to Adrien.”

While Timothée lost the nomination to Adrien Brody, who went on to give the longest speech of all time, he seemed to take it in stride. The A Complete Unknown actor was caught reacting to Adrien's win by clapping, before turning in his seat towards Kylie and giving her a smile + a kiss. Honestly, it was a very cute moment:

These two are obviously extremely serious, but if you need more convincing, a source semi-recently told Entertainment Tonight “They don’t need to try to make things work and it just comes naturally to them. Their relationship is easy. They make an effort to see each other when they can and stay in touch when they’re not geographically close to one another. They're in constant and fluid communication. They see a long-lasting relationship together.”
