- In case you were wondering...Prince Andrew's daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, do not live with him at the Royal Lodge.
- Speaking of the Royal Lodge, King Charles is attempting to evict his disgraced brother from it.
- Eugenie and Beatrice have lavish mansions of their own—keep reading for details!
Prince Andrew is currently rattling around in a giant mansion all by himself, and it's unclear why he feels the need to stay considering a) no one in the royal family wants him there, and b) his kids are all grown up and in giant mansions of their own. While Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie were raised in part at the Royal Lodge (they were teenagers when Prince Andrew moved in), they currently live in estates nowhere near their father's Windsor home.
Details on their fancy spots below, but before we get into it, FYI that before their respective weddings, Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice lived together in a four bedroom apartment in St. James's Palace!
Princess Beatrice
Princess Beatrice and her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, currently live in the Cotswolds, a charming area in England about an hour and a half from the Royal Lodge in Windsor. Here's a random photo for vibes:
Beatrice and Edoardo purchased a farmhouse worth £3.5 million in 2021, and according to Hello! Magazine it has six bedrooms, multiple reception rooms (because one simply wouldn't be enough), a guesthouse, a pool, something called a "party barn," and tennis courts. They've also surrounded the property with a six-foot security fence to maintain their privacy.
There aren't photos of the house itself, but Edoardo works in interior design and his taste definitely runs chic:
Princess Eugenie
Unlike her sister who clearly wants to be removed from royal life (hence the private estate hours from London), Princess Eugenie lives in Kensington Palace—right in the thick of it. Well, she kinda lives in Kensington Palace. Technically, Eugenie and her husband live in Ivy Cottage, a quaint stand-alone home on the grounds of the palace that's just next door to the cottage Prince Harry lived in when he started dating Meghan Markle.
Here's Ivy Cottage looking very cute and charming in the background of a birthday post Eugenie made for her husband, Jack Brooksbank.
The couple also spend part of the year in Portugal due to Jack's work, and also have a home there that's said to be pretty lavish. Eugenie spoke to Hello! Magazine about her kids' love for the area, saying "They love swimming. The sea in Portugal's a little bit rougher, so we've got our feet in, but Augie is a fish. He literally loves it and we have whales and dolphins all across the walls."
