• The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Jessi Draper Ngatikaura hopped on Instagram Stories and exposed what "Fruity Pebbles" means.
  • The phrase has been (until now) a mysterious code word for an intimate act between Demi Engemann and her husband Bret Engemann.
  • Demi responded to Jessi exposing "Fruity Pebbles," calling Jessi a "fame wh0re."

Update 11/25/25: Demi released a statement on Instagram, saying "What my husband and I did one-time behind closed doors, was a consensual and private experience in our marriage. I won't let a private act between my husband and I be a distraction from a serious act that I did not consent to. I shared this information with Jessi in confidence nearly two years ago. It's very telling that she's choosing to break storyline and bring it up now, only after her own affair has come to light. This is nothing more than a desperate attempt to shift attention away from her own behavior."

Original story: Gather around, we are once again talking about Fruity Pebbles. No, not the cereal (well, kinda the cereal), the mysterious intimate act on The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. Quick reminder:

Demi Engemann and her husband Bret Engemann did something nicknamed "Fruity Pebbles," which became a thing among the girls in SLOMW season one. Mostly because Whitney Leavitt thought it would be funny to gift Demi a box of cereal, which Demi was not amused by. During all the drama, no one ever confirmed what "Fruity Pebbles" means, and it's remained a source of mystery and intrigue...until now.

Amid her fight with Demi, Jessi Draper Ngatikaura just hopped on Instagram Stories and said, "So, since she wants to be petty and be an asshole, I think I’m just gonna go ahead and say that Grandpa Bret likes to drink her piss like it’s dirty soda and he gulps it down like water, and that’s what 'Fruity Pebbles' is."

Cut to Demi, who seemingly hopped into the comments and wrote, "I thought she took a break from social media? Good to know this is all it took to have that fame wh0re come crawling back."

Annnnd Jessi responded to that with: "Demi, I think you're the one who needs a break from socials now. Time to ship off to the loony bin."

Now seems like a good time to mention that The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives has been renewed at Hulu so...can't wait to see how this all shakes out on camera!
