Regardless of your relationship status, chances are you're going to want to sip on (or chug, no judgment) a festive cocktail come February 14th. I don't care if you've got a long-time lover, are in a confusing situationship, or are legitimately relieved to be single and not have to shop around for heart-embellished gifts—the holiday can be more fun with a cute drink in hand (boozy or not!).

Valentine’s Day is a great excuse to have a ✨night✨ in the name of love, so why not go all out this year? Maybe you wanna plan a sexy soirée to show off your mixology skills, or perhaps you’re considering hosting a couple of your Galentines for a cozy shindig. The common denominator is that you’ll need some bevs, and that's where I come in. I put together a list of 31 delicious—and actually easy-to-make—Valentine's Day drinks that will sweep you off your feet just like the best partner you've ever had (or, you know, the one you're still dreaming of finding).

The best part? The holiday falls on a Friday this year, so you don't need to worry about suffering through a weekday hangover (but if you wanna skirt around that issue, there are some fabulous mocktails on this list). Cheers to romance!

Rub the edge of your glass with just enough lime juice to wet the rim, then dip in pure maple sugar. Fill the cocktail glass with ice and pour the cherry cocktail in until it's about half full, leaving room at the top for sparkling water and heart-shaped ice cubes. The Mindful Mocktail

Place 5 cherries (roughly chopped) and 1 lime (quartered) in a glass. Add a little sweetener, if desired. Muddle together for about 1 minute. If you don't have a muddler, use the back end of a wooden spoon (the idea is to get things small enough to fit through a straw). Clap 6-8 mint leaves together in your hand to release the scent, then add to the glass. Press gently with a muddler a few times. Add ice and top with your choice of sparkling drink. Garnish with lime wheels, mint, and/or extra cherries.
