An unnamed star from Strictly Come Dancing has been arrested on suspicion of rape, it has been revealed.
Hertfordshire Police confirmed the alleged perpetrator – a man – has been arrested and released on bail. It comes after another man involved with the popular BBC dance show was also arrested on suspicion of rape in August. Neither his identity nor the role he had in the programme have been revealed yet.

"It would not be appropriate to comment on an ongoing police investigation," a BBC spokesperson said in response to the latest allegations.
According to The Sun, however, a source within the corporation said the allegations were an "absolute nightmare" for the BBC. Describing it as "a heartbreaking situation," the insider went on: "Bosses have done their utmost to steady the ship and make the show as scandal-free as possible, and yet now this has happened."
"The BBC is taking this very seriously and will absolutely offer support to all concerned," the source continued.
