If, like us, you've already binged the second season of Netflix's With Love, Meghan, then you might be wondering why Prince Harry doesn't make an appearance.

Following on from his cameo in the final episode of season one, fans were eager to see more of Prince Harry in the second instalment of With Love, Meghan, which goes behind-the-scenes with the Duchess of Sussex as she shares hosting, cooking, and party planning tips with her friends and celebrity pals at her Montecito home.

But, unlike Chrissy Teigen, Jay Shetty, and Tan France (to name a few), Harry is noticeably absent from the line-up of celebrity stars in the second series. As for why that is, one royal expert has just revealed the Duke of Sussex made a "conscious" decision not to appear on the Netflix hit.

Speaking to The Mirror, former BBC Royal Correspondent Jennie Bond revealed the pair have gone their separate ways when it comes to their careers, opting to focus on their own passion projects without the other's involvement. "They are going their own ways now," she said. "Harry has taken a conscious step back and this is Meghan's thing."

The royal insider went on to say that Harry prefers engaging in "stuff he was comfortable doing in his previous life," compared to Meghan's preference for work with celebrities and social media stars.

"I think [Meghan's] probably feeling a lot stronger now back in her home country and her own patch, and talking her own sort of California speak," the expert added. "She's better rooted and happier."

With that in mind, if the show is picked up for a third season it's unlikely we'll see Harry appear alongside his wife again on Netflix's With Love, Meghan. But, we're more than happy to keep watching Meghan shine on her own!
