To celebrate their 14th wedding anniversary, Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, and her husband, Prince William, are currently on a super romantic trip to the remote Scottish Isle of Mull. It's reported that the pair are keeping things simple when it comes to accommodation too, opting for a private self-catered cottage.

Romantic dinner on the cards, perhaps? We wonder who's cooking!

Scotland, which refers to the Prince and Princess as the Duke and Duchess of Rothesay, holds a very special place in the hearts of the couple, as they first met while studying at St Andrews University in Edinburgh.

But the couple aren't just in Scotland for their anniversary – they're also there on a two-day official royal engagement, touring the community spaces that their Royal Foundation is supporting with a refurbishment and meeting with local residents.

The trip marks a huge milestone for the Princess, as it's the first time she has stayed away overnight on an official work trip since sharing the happy news back in September that she had been given the all-clear following a cancer diagnosis earlier in 2024.

Photos of the couple walking around the island show Kate looking glowy, happy and healthy, and see her and William walking in step:

How lovely does Mull look too, by the way?

It's reported that the Prince and Princess have been eager to visit the isles of Mull and Iona (also on their itinerary – another famed beauty spot in the Hebrides) for some time and are keen to support the Scottish tourism industry.

It's estimated that the Isle of Mull has a population of around 3,000 people.

Here's hoping for more loved up photos of the royals as they continue their visit!
