Prince Harry is currently back in the UK for a court hearing regarding his security, and arrived on Monday – just one day after the weekend wedding of his close friend Lord Charles Vivian.
Charles married Saweda Kamara in London at the Chelsea Old Town Hall with a reception at the Nomad hotel. Harry was invited, but he didn't go.
As for why, Daily Mail royal reporter Richard Eden got the tea, and apparently asked Lord Vivian directly why the Duke of Sussex didn't attend. His response? An awkward "I don't know. He has a lot on."
I mean, where is the lie?
Richard Eden also reports that Harry and Lord Vivian are particularly close: Charles was at Harry's wedding, and Harry was actually an usher at Charles' first wedding to Elizabeth Wimpress.
FYI, this isn't the first wedding of a close friend that Harry has skipped. In 2023, he skipped his buddy Jack Mann's wedding—but they're still seemingly tight, so clearly there was no drama. Meanwhile, Charles was photographed at Harry's wedding in a group pic with his closest friends that was shared by the Sussexes during their Netflix doc.
As for Harry's trip to the UK, it's unclear if he's going to see his family amid their ongoing feud, but for what it's worth King Charles is out of the country at the moment visiting Italy with Queen Camilla.
