Less than 24 hours after making her return to Instagram with a video of herself laughing on the beach, the Duchess of Sussex dropped the first trailer for her new Netflix series ‘With Love, Meghan’.
Posting the video to her millions of (and rapidly growing) followers, Meghan wrote: “I have been so excited to share this with you! I hope you love the show as much as I loved making it.”
In the trailer, the Duchess can be seen whipping up a multi-tiered Victoria sponge, kneading focaccia and whipping up a salad like a veritable Martha Stewart, accompanied by celebrity guests including comedian Mindy Kaling and chef Roy Choi.
Not limited to culinary matters, the series will see Meghan explore a range of lifestyle topics from gardening to the home, including doing her very best David Beckham and donning a beekeeping suit to procure honey from a hive.
The series will see the Duchess share personal tips and tricks and give viewers a much-craved glimpse into her enviably aesthetic Montecito life.
Netflix describes the series as one that “reimagines the genre of lifestyle programming, blending practical how-to’s and candid conversation with friends, new and old.”
Everyone's clicking on...
Prince Harry also makes an appearance in the trailer, as does the couples’ adorable rescue beagle, Guy, who can be seen cosily snoring in one clip as Meghan chops vegetables. Sadly, Guy passed away recently and the Duchess posted about how hard the loss has hit her family.
The news comes almost a year after the launch of Meghan’s Californian lifestyle brand American Riviera Orchard, which saw her gift jars of jam and chic dog biscuits to her celebrity circle. Though, little has been revealed about the brand or Meghan’s plans for its future since its March 2024 launch.
When does With Love, Meghan air?
Initially the series, produced by the Duchess herself via the couple's Archewell Productions, was set to launch on 15 January and include eight snackable 33-minute episodes.
However, due to the devastating LA wildfires the Duchess and Netflix have pushed the release date to 4 March.
In a new statement, Meghan said, "I'm thankful to my partners at Netflix for supporting me in delaying the launch, as we focus on the needs of those impacted by the wildfires in my home state of California."
It's said that Meghan and Prince Harry have opened up their home in California, for friends in need of a place to stay following the tragedy.
