Prince George is officially 11 years old! The young royal celebrates his birthday on 22 July, 2024 – and following tradition, the official Prince and Princess of Wales Instagram account just shared a super sweet picture to mark the special occasion.

“Wishing Prince George a very happy 11th birthday today! 📸 The Princess of Wales, 2024,” the caption reads, revealing that Kate was the one to capture the image. However, it's not the Princess of Wales’ photography skills that has everyone talking but instead, how alike George is to his father, William, the Prince of Wales.

“He’s the spitting image of his father, honestly. Happy Birthday George! 🎂❤️ And how is he 11 already? 😱,” one commenter wrote. “Prince George looks so much like his Dad 😍😍😍,” a second agreed.

Do you see the resemblance? We certainly do!

Of course, it’s been a busy few weeks in the Wales’ household. Earlier this month, William and George attended the UEFA Euro 2024 finals in Berlin, Germany [July 14, 2024], while elsewhere, Kate and Princess Charlotte attended the Wimbledon Championship together at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club.

The latest news, however, comes from a Palace insider who claimed that Kate will be retreating indefinitely from the spotlight again as she continues her cancer treatment. Robert Jobson, the author of the upcoming Catherine, the Princess of Wales: A Biography of the Future Queen, spoke to People about why Kate will be stepping back from duties until further notice.
