Shiloh Jolie is making a serious change to her name

One of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's children, Shiloh, has reportedly changed her name now that she has turned 18 and has the legal right to do so of her own accord, so say US reports.

It seems Shiloh Jolie, as she now wishes to be called, has filed paperwork requesting to remove her father's surname – Pitt – from her name, according to TMZ.

She is not the only of the former couple's children to drop Pitt from her name either, but it's thought she's the first to file to make the change. Her siblings Vivienne, Zahara and Maddox also reportedly go solely by 'Jolie'.

Vivienne's name was recently listed as 'Vivienne Jolie' on the playbill of a Broadway show that she helped her mum to produce; meanwhile, both Zahara and Maddox both reportedly axed 'Pitt' from their names, too.

Brad and Angelina, who filed for divorce in 2016, share six children: Maddox, 22, Pax, 20, Zahara, 19, Shiloh, 18, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 15.

While a judge ruled the couple's marriage was over in 2019, they are still embroiled in legal battles to this day.

Jolie has also accused Pitt of physically abusing her and their children — allegations Pitt denies.
