With so many royal engagements and official events, we see a lot of the Royal Family's every day life. It's no wonder then that they try to keep their private life, erm, private. But the veil of secrecy does slip sometimes, and they give us a few-and-far-between glimpse into what their lives are like behind the palace doors.

With that in mind, you can imagine our delight when Prince Harry and Meghan Markle attended an event earlier today and engaged in a cute PDA moment. Meeting with members of the UN General Assembly in New York, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex looked *so* in love as they arrived at the engagement hand in hand.

During the event – which is being held to honour the life and legacy of South Africa's former leader, Nelson Mandela – Harry is expected to give a key-note speech, and the 2020 UN Nelson Mandela Prize will be awarded. The Duke and Duchess visited South Africa with their son, Archie Harrison, in the autumn of 2019 – the trip later turned out to be their last as senior working members of the Royal Family.

This isn't the first time that Harry and Meghan have shown off just how in love they are. Putting The Firm's protocol on PDA to the side, earlier this year the duo bucked tradition and had themselves a very royal snog, much to the delight of fans.

After his team won a polo match in May of this year, the Duke of Sussex and his team were presented by the Duchess with the Lisle Nixon Memorial trophy. As she congratulated the players on their victory, Meghan gave each team mate a kiss on the cheek. But when she reached her husband, the Duchess leaned in for a little more than a quick peck and carefully covered their lips with her hand as they snogged, before wiping away the imprint left behind by her red lipstick.

How romantic!
