There's been plenty said about royal familial relationships (not least by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle during their tell-all Oprah interview last year), but it seems the Duke of Sussex is now very keen to quieten any suggestions that he's nothing but fully invested in his grandmother's happiness.
During a recent TV interview with Today to promote the Invictus Games, a competitive sporting competition for sick, wounded or injured veterans, Harry further opened up about his and wife Meghan Markle's recent visit to see the Queen – and said he was keen to ensure she's being "protected" by the "right people".
Speaking to host Hoda Kotb, the Duke said that while in Europe (the Games are being held in the Netherlands) he and the Duchess dropped in for a spot of tea with Her Majesty, who he described as being on "good form" despite some recent health issues and following the very sad loss of her husband, Prince Philip.
"She's always got a great sense of humour with me and I'm making sure that she's, you know, protected and got the right people around her," the father of two shared. "Meghan and I had tea with her, so it was really nice to catch up with her."
Prince Harry also made it clear that it's unlikely he and Meghan will be moving, along with their two children Archie and Lilibet, any time soon, describing America as his 'home' now.
"Home for me now is, for the time being, is in the States," he said, adding that the local community in Santa Barbara, California, where he lives has been "great" and "welcoming".
Here's hoping that even if they've no plans to move back to this side of the pond, that the Sussexes will soon start visiting more frequently (likely once Harry's current ongoing discussions with the UK government, over whether or not they ought to offer him increased security during his visits, are resolved).
