Princess Eugenie is a big fan of Instagram, often sharing lovely glimpses of life with her baby son August and husband Jack Brooksbank. Over the weekend, she took to social media to post some more snaps, but this time they were of sister Princess Beatrice, to mark her birthday on Sunday.
Eugenie shared a video made up of lots of pictures, some of which were proper throwbacks showing the two princesses when they were children, while others were more recent.
In the lovely caption Eugenie wrote for her sister, she referenced the fact she's about to become a mum and bring a cousin for August into the world - something Eugenie's clearly excited about.
"Happy Birthday to my big sissy. BeaBea you are sensational and I have loved every minute watching you be brave and true...and you ❤️...and now a mummy to be :) #iloveyou," she wrote.
So sweet! And the birthday wishes didn't stop there, of course. Another person very close to Beatrice who posted a pic on Insta to mark her birthday is husband Edo Mapelli Mozzi.
Accompanying a black and white image of him and his wife at the beach, Edo wrote: "Happy Birthday my love. I love you with all my heart."
Everyone's clicking on...
After tying the knot in Windsor in the summer of 2020, Beatrice and Edo announced they're expecting their first child together this autumn.
Although it hasn't yet been shared whether the little one is a boy or a girl, one thing we do know is that Princess Beatrice's baby will be given a title (despite the fact that her younger sister Princess Eugenie's son, August, does not have one). However, it's nothing to do with the Queen or the British Royal Family, but rather with Edo's Italian lineage.
Edo is actually an Italian count (as well as being a multi-millionaire property tycoon), meaning that their child will either become a count or a nobile donna (Italian for 'noble woman'), depending on its sex. The child will be Beatrice's first and Edo's second, as he already has a little boy named Christopher (nicknamed 'Wolfie') who was born in 2016.
We're sure Beatrice is thoroughly enjoying her last birthday celebrations before welcoming her little one. Happy birthday, Princess Beatrice!
