When it comes to her son August, Princess Eugenie has been pretty generous in sharing cute snaps of him - and her husband, Jack Brooksbank - on her social media channels (albeit usually with the little one's face obscured, which is entirely fair enough). Now, Eugenie has uploaded the very first video of her wee chap too, and it's all in aid of a special cause close to her heart.

Taking to Instagram Stories, the Princess posted three clips of little August (filmed from behind) sitting in a bouncy chair, playing with a cuddly toy in the shape of a shark – and it's clear to see that he already has the cutest mop of auburn hair, just like his mum. Eugenie captioned the first video, "It's World Oceans Day today. A day to celebrate our magnificent oceans and all the creatures in it."

For the second video, Eugenie chose the caption, "A day to raise awareness for something so integral to all our lives."

Then, finally, for the third snippet, the mother-of-one quipped, "And a day to snuggle with fluffy sharks!" How adorable is that?

As well as becoming a mother herself for the first time this year, Eugenie is also gearing up to become an aunt, as her sister Princess Beatrice is currently pregnant with her first child (who, unlike August, will inherit a royal title - but through his father's lineage).

The royal family announced Beatrice's baby news on social media back in May, with a statement reading: "👶 Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice and Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are very pleased to announce that they are expecting a baby in autumn of this year. The Queen has been informed and both families are delighted with the news."

Everyone's clicking on...

Princess Eugenie - ever the doting sister - was quick to congratulate her on the happy news, opting to share two pictures of Beatrice and her husband, Edo, on her official Instagram account. The first photo is a gorgeous shot from the couple's wedding back in July, while the second is a more rogue choice: a sweet off-duty selfie of Beatrice and Edo smiling in front of a waterfall.

Eugenie jokingly combined her congratulatory message with a post marking World Bee Day, revealing her adorable nicknames for her sister, as she calls her "Bea" and then "Beabea". So cute!

Fingers crossed that when Beatrice's baby does arrive, we'll be treated to more videos of him or her playing with their cousin, August!
