Last night saw Prince William's documentary Football, Prince William and Our Mental Health air on BBC One, showing the royal family member meeting with various players and fans to discuss how the sport can encourage conversations about mental health (it's worth a watch, by the way).

During one discussion, William meets with a man called Jamo from South Wales who shares his experiences of anxiety, which he says came seemingly out of the blue but that he believes could be related to being made redundant a few years back.

Today, Jamo is back in employment and works for everyone's favourite chicken restaurant Nando's (which recently announced that over 90 branches have reopened for delivery). When this crops up in their chat, Jamo asks the prince, "Do you like Nando's?" to which he quickly replies, "I like Nando’s, everyone likes a Nando’s." You're not lying there, William.

Jamo, who clearly loves this newfound fact as much as the rest of us, then asked when the Duke of Cambridge last had one. "It was a while ago now," William admits, before revealing that his love for the home of PERi-PERi actually came about after he was introduced to it by a close protection officer. Well done to you, Mr Policeman, sir.

Is Prince William a pitta or a burger man, we wonder?

"In fact, the policeman who’s on with me again [today], he’s the one who gets me the Nando’s the whole time. It’s his fault," Prince William then jokes to Jamo, who laughs too.

So, does this mean that The Cambridges have a fridge full of PERinaise like the rest of us? Nando's also have a garlic-flavoured one now, which is fabulous (in case you're interested). Will Nando's be sending him one of their coveted black cards now they know the future king is a fan? Does Prince William order lemon and herb, or extra hot?

Everyone's clicking on...

This isn't the only interesting revelation to come from the documentary either. The programme also saw William open up about how he felt becoming a father and share that the experience brought back a lot of emotion related to losing his mother, Princess Diana, at such a young age. As always, he advocates the power in opening up to others, breaking the surrounding stigma and seeking support.

Football, Prince William and Our Mental Health, which also features players Frank Lampard, Joe Hart and Marvin Sordell, is now available to watch on BBC iPlayer.
