Being brothers, it's pretty safe to say that Prince William and Prince Harry, who recently gave a glimpse inside his LA home, have plenty in common. Now, it seems the former is following in his younger sibling's footsteps and breaking out the dad jokes, this time during a royal video call.

The joke came about as Prince William spoke to staff from a Glasgow-based grassroots charity, PEEK, who support children and families in the local community, and who have been providing healthy meals during the coronavirus pandemic.

On the topic of eating, PEEK staffer Charlie quipped to William, "You'll know yourself, the hardest time is dinner time!" to which the prince laughed and said, "Depends what's on the table though, Charlie! If parents put on something that children love, then dinner goes very well... but if you put something on the table that they don't want to do, then that's another ball game."

Firstly, amen to that – as anybody who has tried feeding a small human can attest, kids can be notoriously fussy, and secondly, does this mean that Prince George refuses to eat anything other than chicken nuggets? Does little Louis demand a mini Caesar salad every day and turn his nose up on spag bol night? We need more details here, please.

Despite the lockdown rules making it very difficult for large swathes of normal life to go ahead, the royals have been vigilant with keeping up their charitable duties and checking in with organisations via video chats.

Prince William also told PEEK staff that he was looking forward to popping in and seeing them whenever he was next able to go to Glasgow... so maybe we'll get that intel on what exactly it is that royal sprogs love to eat after all?

Everyone's clicking on...

One thing we do know they love is spending time outdoors, as further referenced in a very candid throwback picture that Kate Middleton shared just yesterday. Which is just as well, as it's been hotter in some parts of the UK than Ibiza this week...
