We spend over 200,000 hours of our life in bed, and that's not including the dedicated rot days where we spend extra hours cosying up in our favourite room of the house. And so with that many hours spent in bed, it's kinda essential you have the best bedding to sleep in.

There's a lot to consider when it comes to picking your dream bedding, remember to think about:

What to look for before purchasing a bedding set

  • Thread count - The ideal range is between 300 to 500, and this essentially means the higher the number of threads woven together, the more likely the bedding is going to softer, cosier and more luxurious. However, with a higher thread count often means a higher price tag. So if you're serious about investing in your sheets, then look to the higher thread count, but if budget is a major consideration then look between 150 to 300 thread count. It's worth noting that anything higher than 500 doesn't actually then translate to better bedding.
  • Crease-resistance - No one has time to be spending an hour ironing their sheets, so we either want something that can be ironed quickly or ideally needs no ironing at all.
  • Is it a full set? - Ideally you want to be buying a set that comes with matching pillows, so it takes the faff out of buying them separately.
  • The aesthetic - If you're going to be spending so much time in bed, it's important to find a set that makes you want to dive in and matches the look of your home.

Dobby Stripe Egyptian Cotton Duvet Cover

Dobby Stripe Egyptian Cotton Duvet Cover

If you're looking for high luxury, hotel-esque style sheets then look no further than Soak and Sleep's set. This set, which comes with a duvet cover, fitted sheet and two pillowcases, mixes hotel luxe with trend forward bowties to elevate the classic look. We love the 5cm borders on the Oxford pillowcases which will make your bedding look ultra expensive and the set is super breathable thanks to the Egyptian Cotton. And the material is also super easy to iron (done best when slightly damp) and so your bedding will be crease-free.

What are other people saying about it?: One customer raved about the bedding, saying: "This is a high quality cotton fabric that feels great and withstands frequent washing without deterioration."
