We don't know about you but pasta makes up at least two of our meals every week (ok let's be honest more like four meals) and so it's important our pasta dinners have the best bowls to be presented in.

Whether it's bolognese, carbonara or a gnocchi we're eating, our bowls need to be pretty but also durable for all the dinners they're going to hold, and Sainsbury's set of four bowls in a burnt orange shade nails the brief.

The set of four bowls is available for just £17 and has a warm burnt orange shade on the outside and a cream speckled pattern on the inside of the bowl. They're completed with a brown rim on the edge.

Just think how good your linguini will look in these?

While we often lean towards classic white tableware, as we're firmly in spring and looking towards summer, upgrading your bowls or plates is an easy way to add instant colour to your dining table, especially if you're hosting your friends and don't have time to make an entire tablescape, but just want a pop of colour.

The burnt orange shade is an ideal balance of warmth and colour without being overwhelming. The bowls are made from stoneware so they'll be durable and last you for years to come.

They're also dishwasher and microwave safe, so less cleaning up required and ideal for heating up leftovers.

And we're not the only ones for are fans of these bowls for our mid-week meals, the set of four has a number of five star rave reviews, with many Sainsbury's shoppers praising them. One reviewer said, "I’ve had these in a different colour for years and bought more as they’re so good. Perfect size and no food ever gets stuck to them, so easy to clean."

While another said: "These bowls are ideal for pasta, noodles, rice dishes, salads, etc. They are a good size, lovely the colour and they are easy to clean. I've had no problems using them in a microwave or oven, i.e. no deterioration and they get used several times a week."

Ok, anyone for a tagliatelle?
