There is no such thing as too many cushions. They're an easy and affordable way to upgrade your space, especially your living room and with spring finally on the way (it's 11 degrees as I write this), it's only right your sofa has some new cushions to give it a lift for the season.
We spend a lot of time scrolling through the homeware section of Next's website (what can we say? It's a great hobby), and we've found the ideal cushion for nailing spring's sage green trend, and it's just £12.
Sage green is having a real moment in homeware, as everyone looks to bring the brightness and colour of spring into their homes. Whether it's with a new throw blanket or a cosy bedding set that captures the freshness of the season, you can definitely expect to see sage pop up in your friends' home.
The calming sage shade is ideal for those who aren't fans of bold colours, but want to add a touch of depth and interest to a room, which brings us to Next's £12 cushion.
The 50 x 30cm cushion is reversible with two prints in one. On one side of the cushion is a sage green floral pattern, with a blue and green stripe trim on the edge. And on the other side is the sage and blue horizontal stripe.
One cushion on its own would instantly lift any room, but we'd likely buy two and then you can have them matching with either the stripes or florals, or do a mix and match situation, and it's still under £25 for the pair.
We're not alone in our love for the rectangular cushion, with Next shoppers leaving it many 5 star reviews. One customer said of the cushion, "This is a stunning cushion. Very well priced and a beautiful sage green colour. Highly recommend!" While another said: "I bought these for a guest bedroom, they are lovely! Excellent value for money."
As the Next shopper pointed out, they of course don't just have to be for your living room, and could easily work in a bedroom, or even just one cushion on a study chair.
Wherever you put them in your home, you're very likely to get that spring feeling.
