If you've been on TikTok at all in the last year, you'll likely have seen the wholesome activity that is a paint and sip on your FYP. Ideal for beginners and art aficionados alike, paint and sips are a great way to spice up your Saturday afternoon plans if you're looking to trade your Netflix binge-watching session for a paintbrush.
As the name suggests, a paint and sip is an informal art class (often led by a practicing artist) during which can you follow step-by-step instructions to create your own masterpiece while enjoying a tipple or two (or something alcohol-free, if that's your thing). As well as being ideal for socialising with pals, paint and sips make a great solo date and can help you unwind from the stress of every day life. Very demure, very mindful!
With events across the country (yep, you can paint and sip anywhere from Bristol to Belfast and beyond), we decided to round up a few of our favourite paint and sips, bringing you all the intel so you can spend less time Googling and more time, well, painting and sipping. Read on to find out about paint and sip events near you, as well as what to expect, what's included and how to book.

Brush and Bubbles - London
Based in the heart of London (think: Covent Garden), Brush and Bubbles offers teacher-led painting workshops with a glass of Prosecco or a non-alcoholic alternative. As well as two hours of fun, you'll get to take home your painting, which could be anything from a 'dirty martini' to a 'desert cactus'.
Price: £49
What's included: All art supplies are included (canvas, paints, paintbrushes, easel, palette, apron), plus a glass of Prosecco or a non-alcoholic alternative. Guests are asked not to bring their own alcohol, as additional drinks can be purchased at the venue.

Don't Wake The Neighbours - London
If you're a music lover, head down to Don't Wake The Neighbours at the Prince of Peckham and see the likes of Nikki Minaj and Snoop Dogg come to life on canvas. Drinks aren't included with this one, but there's prizes on offer for the best painting and the best dressed!

Vibe N' Paint Night at Art Play - London
Sign up to Art Play's Vibe N' Paint Night and let your creativity flow as a DJ spins everything from Hip Hop to House music. This event in particular is unguided — so you can paint whatever you fancy — but there's also guided sessions on offer. Oh, and did we mention the on-site pizza parlour?

What's included: Art supplies are included (see: canvas, easel, paints, brushes, aprons), and you're advised to bring a bag to carry your artwork home in. Drinks aren't included, but there's a bar (and pizza vendor) on-site so you can purchase them.

Popping up in venues across Manchester and Ramsbottom, Cork and Canvas provides guided painting sessions. Some events are BYOB (so check when booking) while others include a complementary glass of bubbles.

Neon Brush - Manchester
Love raving? Neon Brush is the paint and sip for you! More than just a painting session, this is an immersive (and very fluorescent) experience. Not based in Manchester? No worries — Neon Brush offers events across the UK and internationally.

What's included: All art supplies are included, along with aprons to cover your clothes. However, Neon Brush recommends wearing clothing that you wouldn't be too upset about getting dirty. Drinks aren't included, but are available to purchase depending on the venue.

As the name suggests, Pop Up Painting is another paint and sip offering pop-up events across the UK, including Bristol. At one of the brand's Bristol events, some of the paintings you could have a go at — and take home! — are Vincent Van Gogh's Starry Night and Frida Kahlo's The Frame. Each event has a themed playlist too, so you'll feel truly immersed in your artistic experience.

Pinot and Picasso - Brighton
Master the art of fun at one of Pinot and Picasso's arty parties — ideal for solo dates, first dates or dates with your best pals. The brand offers events in Leeds, London, Liverpool and Brighton, and it's the latter location we're looking at here...

Paint and Pom Pom - Cardiff
Based in South Wales? Paint and Pom Pom hosts sessions in Cardiff and Newport — like the upcoming Galentines Day event in February 2025. Best of all? £10 from each ticket will go to charity, and you can BYOB! There'll also be a raffle to take part in, and local craft stalls to shop at.
