22 best cocktails in a can for park meet-ups

Margaritas and sunshine go together like fish and chips. This one’s super easy drinking, combining white tequila with lemon, lime and a touch of salt. It’s not the strongest — but maybe that’s a good thing.

Vodka and soda may sound simple, but East London Liquor Company hasn't cut any corners with this one. It’s made with the brand’s British wheat vodka and mixed with natural rhubarb soda. Tart and fruity, without being too sweet — we were impressed. 

4.6% ABV, £2.25 for 250ml

Fresh mint, zingy lime and lively bubbles — close your eyes and you could just about imagine you’re in Cuba, home of the mojito. Bacardi’s take on the classic rum cocktail is as refreshing as it is uplifting.

Getting a Bloody Mary just right is no mean feat, which is why it took Bloody Drinks two years to perfect this one. The result? Thick, peppery tomato juice, hints of spicy tabasco and a touch of salt (along with copious amounts of vodka and sherry of course). Park brunch anyone?

Traditionally you’d make a paloma with tequila, but Cantails has ripped up the rule book and made this gin version instead. The switch-up means it’s bursting with botanicals, alongside tart grapefruit, so we approve.

Seedlip is a lifesaver if you’re not drinking, but pre-mixed? Even better! This one combines grapefruit and spicy cloves for a mild G&T-esque effect, without the hangover. Grab a case and ensure you’ve always got something to drink when you’re not drinking.

We knew we were gonna be fans of this can, from the Russian doll doing a high kick on the front. Inside is the perfect moscow mule — fresh ginger, tons of lime juice and a dash of bitters. It’s likely gonna be the closest we get to a vacay this summer, that’s for sure.

If alcohol ain’t your thing, you might be up for trying this relaxing can containing 15mg of CBD. It’s flavoured with mint and elderflower, so tastes as great as it feels, and contains 19 calories per can. And relax...

Spencer Matthews from Made in Chelsea is the last person we’d expect to bring out a low calorie “clean” cocktail, but here we are. Hats off to him, it’s delish — tasting just like a lemony G&T, complete with botanicals.

This peachy dream is the brainchild of Great British Menu judge Oliver Peyton, and is a concoction of vodka, peach, lemon juice and black tea. You’d never guess it was so boozy (in fact, we think it tastes a bit like a Lipton’s iced tea).

8% ABV, £3.49 for 250ml

We’re pretty damn good at making an espresso martini, but tbf, MOTH are better. Imagine a great iced coffee (complete with frothy top), chuck in some swanky vodka, and boom — you’ve got yourself MOTH’S espresso martini in a can.

14.9% ABV, £3.99 for 125ml

A boozy breakfast classic, Sipful’s premixed OJ and sparkling wine uses real blood orange juice — fancy. To give you a heads up, we found this had more of a gentle syrupy spritz, rather than an in-your-face fizz. Cheers!

We’re big fans of Slingsby’s juicy flavoured gins, but this spritz replaces tonic with soda water, for something a little different. It’s still super fizzy, and packed with ripe strawberry jam and rhubarb. Yum!
