Calling all fans of McDonald's and Frank's RedHot sauce, the legendary spicy collaboration is officially making a comeback.

Earlier today (16 April) the fast food chain shared the exciting news, revealing the iconic McSpicy x Franks RedHot chicken burger is returning to stores in just a matter of weeks, following its brief run last year.

When the collab dropped last February, fans were full of praise for the spicy new menu addition. One Instagram user called it the "Best chicken burger I have had from McDonald's," while another asked: "Serious question! Why have McDonald's keep this hidden away for so long its everything and more!" And another said: "Y'ALL NEED TO KEEP THIS VERSION OF THE MCSPICY ON THE MENU!!! šŸ˜šŸ˜šŸ˜"

So what's the deal with this burger? Well the spicy burger is made from chicken breast in a hot and crispy coating, topped with crunchy lettuce, cheese made with Emmental, jalapeƱos, slivered onions, and of course topped with Frank’s RedHot Mayo which is then all packed into a toasted sesame seed bun.

And new to the menu this year is a brand new dip - the Frank’s RedHot Mayo dip. Last year it was available as part of the chicken burger but now you can order it on its own. Ideal for dunking Chicken Selects, McNuggets, hash browns, and of course your fries in.

So when is it available? Well mark your calendars for the 7th May as that's when the collaboration is available from.

Everyone's clicking on...

The McDonald's x Frank's RedHot collab will run for a limited time, so make sure to grab it while you can.

The burger on its own is available for £5.99 or in a meal deal along with medium fries and a drink for £7.99. As for the new dip? That's £0.50.

Oh and the good news doesn't stop there. If you order the McSpicy X Frank’s RedHot on the McDonald's app, you'll get double rewards points.

We know where we'll be on 7th May.
