The day all Greggs fans stoically sit and wait for every year has finally arrived. The famed Festive Bake will be returning to Greggs shelves from tomorrow.
The Festive Lunch Soup and and the Vegan Festive Baguette will also be returning to Greggs menus this year, alongside new additions from the iconic British bakery.
The all-new Christmas Lunch Baguette features chicken breast, sage and onion stuffing, onion gravy, bacon, cheddar cheese, and cranberry and onion relish. Also new for this year is the Spicy Vegetable Curry Bake, which is a brand-new vegan option for Greggs, and is made with mixed vegetables, chickpeas and rice, all brought together in a warming, chilli-laden curry sauce.
It wouldn't be a festive menu without a selection of hot drinks to choose from, would it?
The all-new Orange Hot Chocolate and Orange Mocha will be available from tomorrow alongside festive favourites of Christmases gone by – the Mint Hot Chocolate, Mint Mocha and Salted Caramel Latte. Greggs is also offering new customers who download the Greggs App throughout the festive season a free hot drink and welcome treat. Now that's festive spirit.
The menu announcement follows a buzz of excitement after Greggs surprised fans over the weekend with a Space Odyssey themed drone show above Greggs’ Gosforth Bakery in Newcastle, to mark the return of the iconic Festive Bake.
The show displayed a Greggs-inspired rocket launching into the galaxy, taking a journey through Greggs' version of space, passing spacey sausage rolls and doughnuts before the planets aligned to reveal a cosmic 3D Festive Bake. Just a completely normal way to celebrate Christmas, right?
