There's no question that Cadbury Dairy Milk bars are iconic, and when any new flavours are introduced to the range it's safe to say we're very, very interested.

When the flavour in question is salted caramel, our interest is absolutely piqued.

While it might seem that Cadbury is a little bit late to the salted caramel flavour trend, we're sure that the brains behind the flavour combos were just making sure salted caramel would make it into the chocolate bar flavour canon before messing with the nation's beloved Dairy Milk.

The new launch was spied online on Instagram on @newfoodsuk's account, and the bars are apparently available at Tesco right now!

The bars are on sale in sharing size only at the moment, and they'll set you back £1.25.

We've already seen this flavour in Cadbury's Milk Chocolate Salted Caramel Eggs, and we can confirm they are oh-so delicious and indulgent, so we've got high hopes for the bar version.

People in the comments of @newfoodsuk's Instagram post have mixed opinions on the salty launch, saying Dairy Milk bars should be classic or nothing, or others saying they'd rather chow down on the normal caramel flavour any day.

The jury's still out!

The new flavour comes in a month of egg-cellent new launches from Cadbury, including a Cadbury Dairy Milk Chunky Egg that features an extra chunky layer of chocolate, and a 1kg bag of Cadbury Mini Eggs.
