Usually there’s not much to look forward to in January. It’s cold, miserable and we’ve finished all our Christmas chocolate. But thanks to McDonald’s we’ve now got one very big reason to be excited for the new year as they’ve already announced their January menu and it’s got three brand new items heading our way.
The first, and arguably the one we’re most excited for is the Chicken Katsu One Wrap. It’s a soft warm tortilla packed with your choice of crispy or grilled chicken, covered in a katsu sauce, and topped with crispy onions, crunchy cucumber, and fresh lettuce.
And when you buy the wrap on a Wednesday it’s just £1.99, well we know where we’ll be heading for our first Wednesday lunch back in the office.
Also new to the menu in January is the BBQ Ranch Stack which has two 100% beef patties that are topped with cheese made with Emmental, lettuce, bacon, crispy onions, creamy ranch & sweet BBQ sauce, all sandwiched between a glazed sesame seed bun.
And the final new item heading our way in the new year is Milky Way McFlurry. If you hadn’t had enough of it in the Celebrations tub at Christmas then you can carry on getting your Milky Way fix. The new McFlurry features the classic McFlurry ice cream which is swirled with milk chocolate stars and malt flavoured pieces topped with a chocolate sauce.
Ok so if the new items weren’t enough to get you excited you’ll be pleased to know a number of our favourite items are returning, including the mozzarella dippers which will be available until the end of March.
Everyone's clicking on...
And also returning is the McCrispy BBQ Smokehouse, which features a 100% chicken breast fillet in a crispy, crunchy coating with a smoky BBQ sauce, cheddar cheese, red onion, lettuce, all sandwiched into a sourdough-style sesame topped bun. It’ll be available until May so plenty of time to try it.
January blues who?
The new menu launches on 8th January 2025 at the restaurants and on the McDonald’s app.
