If you fancy updating your cookware for autumn but don't have a ton to spend on pricey pieces, budget supermarket Aldi is bringing back their cast iron cookware range – and we want everything!
Comparing the hero buys in its collection to similar-looking pieces from high-end rival Le Creuset, Aldi says shoppers can save hundreds on its new casserole dish, shallow casserole dish, mugs and an iron skillet.
Aldi promises that its cast iron range is suitable for use with all heat sources, from gas to induction jobs, and can also be popped into the oven for temperatures up to 250oC.
The range – which comes in red, cream and grey – will be available to pre-order online from 6 September, and can be found in stores and hits stores from 10th September. You'll have to be quick though, as once they're gone, they're gone!
We don't know about you but we're definitely tempted. The range features everything from a 30cm cast iron shallow casserole dish (£24.99, compared to Le Creuset's £240), a 26cm cast iron casserole dish (£24.99, compared to Le Creuset's £240) and an iron roaster for £19.99 instead of £180. Wow.
We know what we'll be spending our next pay cheque on.
