What's better than a plate of fries? A plate of HALLOUMI fries, obviously.

We're salivating at just the thought, so this latest nugget of news has got us just a tad excited (understatement).

Until recently, the cheesy snack is something mostly commonly found in one of two places - Nando's or on some fancy street food stall. Well not any longer, folks.

Aldi has announced its bringing back last year's hugely successful bags of frozen halloumi fries. More specifically, Specially Selected Golden & Crispy Specially Selected Halloumi Fries.

The 190g bags can be found in the freezer section of the budget supermarket now and will set you back just £2.29, meaning you can now enjoy them in the comfort of your own home for less than three quid.

Like we needed any more persuasion, Aldi says: "Inspired by a similar offering from popular Portuguese chicken eatery, Nando’s; Aldi’s Specially Selected Haloumi Fries are made with scrumptiously soft - and salty - halloumi cheese from Cyprus and a lightly seasoned crispy coating making them the perfect side or snack for sharing."

Everyone's clicking on...

Good grief.

As always, the supermarket is on form this year. If you prefer to make your own food rather than just pull it from the freezer, their £39 barbecue pizza oven will make your day. Or if you prefer to chill rather than cook (same) you'll love the comfy-looking hanging egg chair that's selling for less than £130.
