Everybody knows that there has never been a better collaboration than Primark and Harry Potter. And once you throw Christmas into the mix, you're guaranteed to have some very exciting (and probably very skint after they've seen the collection!) Hogwarts fans.

Ahead of December 2020, Primark have launched a Harry Potter advent calendar. But unlike the existing ones, it's a DIY advent calendar, which allows you to fill each day with whatever you'd like. Whether that's mini gin bottles, chocolate coins or even more Harry Potter merch, treat yourself to whatever you like each day of December.

And actually, who says you have to save the calendar for December? Presumably we can have it every day of every month, seeing as we just fill it with our own goodies?

Last year's version of the calendar was shaped like the Hogwarts express, but this year's version has gone one better: it's shaped like actual Hogwarts. The wooden replica of the school features 24 labelled wooden boxes, for filling with special treats. "Introducing the Hogwarts advent calendar 😱" Primark wrote on Instagram.

"This year’s coveted Harry Potter calendar is making its way into stores… When the autumn term draws to a close, make sure you have this Hogwarts advent calendar on-hand to start the Christmas countdown in wizarding style 💫

"Fill the drawers with all kinds of treats – this will be a Christmas tradition you can continue for years to come! 🎄£16/€18"

Unsurprisingly, Harry Potter fans are already obsessing over the advent calendar in the comments. "This is AMAZING," one person wrote, while another added, "Advent calendar 2019 sorted." A third said, "OMG I need one!"

Everyone's clicking on...

Other comments included:

  • "I need it now"
  • "This is definitely a must! ✨"
  • "What a cute little advent calendar"

Currently, it's unclear when the Harry Potter advent calendar will go on sale, but one thing is for sure: we'll all be fighting each other off to get our hands on one.
