The White Lotus is over (boo!) and we're feeling gutted to be waving goodbye to the island of Koh Samui (a cool $5 mill in the bank probably makes it a little easier, though right, Belinda?). The final episode left us with so many questions. Was Jim Hollinger really Rick's dad? How will Victoria react to the Ratliff family's financial demise after landing back in North Carolina? Timothy, nooo!
But our biggest question is how we'll cope without Aimee Lou Wood's fan-favourite character Chelsea? *Sob*. Chelsea warned us that bad things come in threes, and even though her untimely death was written on the wall all series, we were still heartbroken when it happened. Not least because we'll miss her impeccable style.
Chelsea totally captured exactly how we want to dress this summer, with her cool and laidback Brit gal approach to a holiday wardrobe. Trust us, there'll be some crochet-covered Chelsea copycats this festival season. If, like me, you want the low down on every look along with affordable alternatives ready to pack for your next beach vaycay, we’ve got you. Thank you, ALW, for being our holiday inspo queen this series.
Episode 1
As soon as those leopard print sunglasses popped up on screen during the first ep, I was on my phone searching for them. The tonal beachy attire – postbox red bikini, on-trend orange quilted crochet bag and burgundy sarong – looks banging with animal print shades and a tan. The TDF sunnies are from Jacquemus and are available to shop now, and the bag is JW Anderson, which you can still nab in yellow, but we've also spotted some similar finds to recreate this flawless beach day look for less.
Episode 2
A masterclass in poolside dressing. Opt for a tropical print mini dress à la Chelsea in episode two – preferably in a semi sheer mesh material – and look stun as you sip on your spicy marg and devour your summer reading list on a sunlounger. No airy kaftans here, thank you.
Episode 3
Taking style notes from 00's Kirsten Dunst? That's our kind of girl. A white vest top is the cool gal summer holiday essential, especially when it's emblazoned with studs or diamantés and worn over a string bikini with the straps showing. Chelsea matches her rhinestoned crop tank top with a quirky parrot print mesh skirt from Loewe. While the exact design is now sold out, we did hunt one down on eBay. If you're looking for equally bold graphic printed beach cover-ups, Rat & Boa are a great go-to.
Episode 4
Thanks to our eagle-eyed fashion detectives at Comso HQ, we've tracked down Chelsea's gorge pastel blue sheer dress from ep four. Bad news though, it's a pre-loved find that the show's costume designer, Alex Bovaird, sourced from NYC vintage shop The Zoo Boutique. More bad news is that the JW Anderson rainbow striped crochet bag Chelsea has expertly paired her mini dress with is now sold out, too. For heartbroken fans, we've rounded up the best outfit dupes to look as yacht-chic as ALW.
