Looking for the best bras for big boobs? You’re in the right place. From full-coverage bras and wireless styles to plus-size and DD+ bras, we’ve done the hard work for you. After trawling the internet, analysing thousands of reviews and trying and testing more bras than we can count, we’ve curated an edit of genuinely supportive styles that don’t compromise on comfort, shape or style.
“Finding a comfortable bra that is not frumpy and unattractive can be a challenge at the best of times – but particularly for fuller-busted women,” says Priya Downes, founder of lingerie brand Nudea – and we couldn’t agree more.
If you’re a DD+ cup, chances are the search for the perfect bra has felt never-ending. Only busty girls know the pain of scrolling past the prettiest lace triangle bras, fully aware they’ll offer zero support and a fast track to back pain. That’s exactly why Team Cosmo set out to test the best bras for big busts on the market right now – focusing on styles that are actually supportive, flattering and stylish. These are the bras worth investing in.

Best affordable bra for big boobs
After years of wearing the wrong bra size, former fashion & lifestyle ecommerce writer, Shadé Owomoyela, was recently measured as a 30F, so it was off to the shops for her to find a new bra.
“Lounge is my go-to for underwear that’s sexy and supportive. I love their intimates range but absolutely swear by their Invisible Form T-Shirt Bra. It’s so comfy, it’s super-affordable, and it gives my boobs a nice shape under my tees and high-neck dresses—I love it so much I have it in every colour!”
Notes of the fit: Stick to your normal size.

Best bra for big boobs
From Elomi, this bra is top of the list for so many reasons. The high-apex cuts create the comfiest, most supportive fit (no nip slips here) and sit close to the skin for true invisibility beneath tight clothes. I also love the half cup satin detail and the sultry embroidery.
Notes on the fit: This bra fits true to size
Sizing range: This design is available in cup sizes DD-K.

Best strapless bra for big boobs
Yes, another Skims style for y’all. This one is a foolproof strapless bra for big boobs – the ultra-wide wings and internal gumming ensure it stays put, but you can always add the removable straps should some extra support be needed. This comes in a decent array of nudes for every skin tone.
Notes on the fit: This bra is on the smaller side which helps everything stay put, but watch out for any boob bulge.
Sizing range: This design is available in cup sizes A-H.
Best unpadded bra for big boobs
This is one of my favourites – as an F cup I always wear unlined bras, but I’ve never come across one that offers such incredible lift. Skims has nailed it yet again with this clever 360 stretch fabric: it’s a whopping 24% elastane, way more than your average lingerie, and it really works!
Notes on the fit: Because this bra is knitted with so much stretch, you need to make sure it fits *just* right or you’ll get serious boob bulge. If in doubt, size up.
Sizing range: This design is available in cup sizes A-H.
Best push-up bra for big boobs
Smaller chested gals aren’t the only ones looking for a lil’ push-up in the boob department, and the fact that this bra is available in sizes 30A - 42F proves it. Designed to give the wearer an ‘instant boob job’ (their words, not ours), it’s made from soft sheen microfibre fabric and has smoothing side wings, a concealed underwire and premium teardrop-shaped foam pad for a super-snug fit.
Notes on the fit: According to 108 online reviews, this beauty fits true to size. However, SKIMS recommend sizing up one band size if you’re between sizes.
Sizing range: This design is available in band 30-42 and cup sizes A-F.
Best balcony bra for big boobs
Next is a dark horse in the bra for bigger boobs game, and it‘s not hard to see why this everyday DD+ bra is one of its bestsellers. Best comfy bra for big boobs
I’ve worn this bra every single day during pregnancy – and bought three in total as my cup size has shot up through the trimesters – because it is so darn comfy. If you’re a no-fuss-no-frills gal who just needs a bra that feels light as air and holds everything in, Nudea is the place to go.
Notes on the fit: We now go by Nudea fits on all lingerie, because the brand’s ingenious measuring tape is the best in the biz. This bra fits true to size but is also forgiving if you’re a little smaller than the cup – excellent news if your breasts fluctuate through your cycle.
Sizing range: This design is available in cup sizes B-GG.
Best sheer bra for big boobs
Bravissimo have been purveyors of high-quality, beautiful bras for bigger-busted people for years now, and we’re loving its Allure style. Both flirty and functional, the design marries delicate, stretch lace with a plunge cup and flexible underwire for a smoothing lift that looks great under low-cut outfits. The straps are also fully adjustable, so you can re-jig the girls to your heart’s content.
Notes on the fit: According to reviews, customers have sized down in both band and cup and still felt like the bra is a great fit.
Sizing range: This design is available in band sizes 28-38 and cup sizes A-G
Best sexy bra for big boobs
Playful Promises is your one-stop shop for sexy, London-designed lingerie. We’re obsessed with the number of gorgeous styles on site and the level of inclusivity—the retailer makes over 80 bra sizes and stocks dresses in sizes UK8-28 for queens of all shapes.
This rosebud balconette bra strikes the perfect balance of sultry and sweet—add the matching thong and suspender belt, and you’re well on your way to feeling like a goddess.
Notes on the fit: This style is true to size but needs to be hand-washed in cool water. If you have a tendency to just bung everything in the washing machine, this style might not be for you.
Sizing range: This design is available in band sizes 30-42 and cup sizes A-H.
Best high-apex bra for big boobs
If you’re fussy about sexy undies and you’ve got some cash to splash, branch out to female-founded, female-run, Understatement. The brand's mission is to empower women with sexy, supportive undies and from leopard print lace bralettes to bright pink mesh briefs, they’re doing just that.
Notes on the fit: This high apex bralette is made from a sculpting and supportive stretch-lace, which is extremely flattering for all cup sizes. With plunge cups that feature a shorter wire, it will quickly become your go-to bra for low-cut tops or scoop necklines.
Sizing range: This design is available in cup sizes XS-3XL.
Best wireless bra for big boobs
Another winner from Boux Avenue’s Solutions collection is this hella comfy lounge bra. It’s designed without any uncomfortable wiring but is miraculously still just as supportive for DD+ busts.
Notes on the fit: This one fits a little large but because the non-wired cups are more flexible, you can get away with subtle fluctuations.
Sizing range: As wireless bras are traditionally less supportive, this is a special style aimed at DD+ busts – it’s only available in cups E-G.
How to measure your bra size
You’ve got your size right, because, according to Boux Avenue, a whopping 81% of you are wearing the wrong cup size. After being fitted hundreds of times with different results depending on the store, I turned to Nudea’s measuring tape. It cleverly measures the underband using a slider fastening and each individual cup size separately.
But if you don’t want to order a measuring tape, look to your existing underwear for clues as to whether the cup size is right. Priya has given us some excellent pointers here: “The best piece of advice for fuller busts is to ensure your underband fits correctly as it does all the hard work supporting the bust, not the straps. It should feel snug against your skin, resting in a straight line across the back with no digging in or riding up,” she explains. How to find the best for bra for bigger boobs?
Ria Matthews, customer experience manager at Bravissimo, pins fit as the most important factor when shopping for a new bra. “We always recommend having a fitting when bra shopping as there is no more comfortable or supportive bra than one that really fits. Once you have your bra size, you’ll find bra shopping so much easier and much more fun!”
Focusing on fit is all well and good, but how should a well-fitting bra actually feel? “A well-fitting bra should not ride up with a back band that sits straight across the back,” says Matthews. There should be no spilling, gaping, or digging in, and it should feel comfortable. If it’s not comfortable, it’s time for a bra fitting.”
What to avoid when shopping for bras for bigger boobs?
Going up a band size is rarely a good idea if you’re on a quest for comfort. In fact, it’s a mistake that many bra shoppers make when trying to find a new BFF for their boobs. “We always find customers assume a bra will be more comfortable if they go for a bigger band, so it feels looser,” says Matthews. “80% of the bra’s support comes from the band, so when this is too loose you’ll find it moves around and puts pressure on the straps.” Noted.
So, where to start? Luckily, there are myriad brands out there catering to bigger busted ladies. New-gen lingerie brands like SKIMS and Dora Larsen have got the technical and aesthetic stuff covered, while oldies-but-goodies like M&S and Bravissimo are improving their fit all the time.
