YouTuber Emma Chamberlain, owner of one of the best wardrobes on Instagram, always serves a strong accessory game. She just shared a pic of herself relaxing on a sun lounger, and she's wearing summer's most important add-on: colourful sunglasses. (PS - in the market for some? Scroll down to shop our edit.)

She paired a brown bikini with a yellow-framed, tinted pair - one of many in her collection of sunnies. She's big into eyewear generally, and even launched her own (now sold out) collection with Crap Eyewear in 2019. Emma often posts shots wearing everything from clear opticals to vintage-inspired frames in all sorts of shapes and colours.

Here's Emma's pool pairing:

She's perfected the art of using sunglasses as a main character accessory - the right pair can completely change the mood of an outfit. We're not talking about your standard metal-rimmed aviators that you panic bought at the airport either, or the plastic black Wayfarers that you've had for 10 years. Think coloured lenses, micro or oversized shapes, and on-trend vintage silhouettes. It probably helps that she lives in a year-round sunny climate, and not...the cloudy UK, but still. When the sun's out here, we take full advantage, right? Hello, heatwave...

We love the colour clash going on with the orange lenses here:

How good are these blues?

We'll take a pair in every colour, please:
