Monica Vinader's Black Friday sale is here for 2023 and it's frankly epic. The jewellery brand, loved by the likes of Olivia Rodrigo, Selena Gomez and Kendall Jenner certainly knows how to treat us: there's up to 50% off jewellery today.
We've been obsessed with MV for a couple of years now, but we have to say this year's offering is one of the best – with vintage-inspired bangles, lab-grown diamonds and cute personalised pieces.
Right now, you can get 30% off everything on the site. Plus, the brand is also dropping flash deals to celebrate Cyber Monday, with up to 50% off selected goodies.
What to shop in Monica Vinader's Black Friday Flash Sale?
Everyday Monica Vinader will be switching up its Black Friday Flash Day sale with up to 50% off fresh products – we're talking new-in items and the latest brand collabs, people. We would seriously recommend checking out these deals daily as you never know what will be discounted next. We've spotted Gigi Hadid's Doina pearl earrings in today's Cyber Monday Flash sale.
What to buy in Monica Vinader's Black Friday sale?
We're always here for a Monica Vinader staple: a simple gold hoop, some everyday huggies or a layering ring.
However, we're also suckers for shiny, new things and we're not ashamed to admit it! The highlights to know? The brand's vintage-inspired, new drop with celeb stylist Kate Young (lots of statement bangles and sparkling gems) or anything Ken Jen approved – the Alta charm bracelet is her everyday essential.
Monica Vinader's Black Friday celeb faves:
Speaking of celebrity favourites, Olivia Rodrigo has been spotted more than one in Monica Vinader's silver Alta necklace. For the Superbowl, she styled it with a white tank and chunky chokers for a real Y2K look. Full price, this statement chain comes in at just under £500 – but pick yours up in the sale when this baby is sliiiightly more affordable.
Both Olivia R and Kendall Jenner have been spotted rocking the Alta chain bracelet. Monica Vinader offers this style in both gold vermeil and sterling silver. If you want our advice pick up one of each while the deals apply – mix n' matching metals is seriously in RN.
If you're more into statement jewellery looks, take inspo from Selena Gomez. She recently accessorised a cute party dress with Monica Vinader's Deia Lyre large hoops for the VMA after party – we're so here for letting the jewels do all the talking.
Although Sel's oversized style is currently sold out, we've spotted the more wearable medium version drop in MV's flash sale today. Grab yours while they're 30% off now!
Does Monica Vinader take part in Black Friday?
Hell, YES. The jewellery brand is known for being generous every Black Friday, offering up some of the best discounts out there. Since it's not always easy to find discounted Monica Vinader items, you should take full advantage during the sales period.
We're big advocates for shopping the sales from home, since you can guarantee better sizes and stock options online – oh, and you don't have to camp outside any stores, or fight fellow shoppers for the last pair of hoops.
Does Monica Vinader take part in Cyber Monday?
Not only does the jewellery brand start its Black Friday sale early, it also extends the offers to Cyber Monday, and 2023 is no different.
When is Monica Vinader's Black Friday sale?
Black Friday always falls on the last weekend of November which, this year, is November 24. From our experience, clothes shopping is a little easier than tech or beauty, because there's less of a panic. For 2023, Monica Vinader launched its sale a full 11 days before Black Friday, giving shoppers well over a week to decide on their purchases.
How much is Monica Vinader's delivery?
Since most of us do our Black Friday shopping online, delivery is an important consideration. We recommend drawing up a wish list now so you don't do multiple orders on the big day – it's not great for your carbon footprint, ppl. Monica Vinader offers a completely free delivery option for those looking for a real bargain. It's called the 'No Hurry' shipping (so cute) and can take up to 7 days. If you want your order a little faster, go for the standard delivery priced at £3.95. If you're really impatient, though, there's a next day option for £7.95.
What even is Black Friday?
Black Friday kickstarted in '30s America when the department store Macy's cashed in on the annual Thanksgiving Day parade (if you love Gossip Girl, you'll remember Dan and Serena watching it on TV in season six).
The term 'Black Friday' wasn't officially coined until years later, with the event becoming more of a thang during the big capitalist years of the '80s (ya know, Working Girl, Wall Street bankers and, um, all the independent ladies reading Cosmopolitan). FYI, it's always been manic AF, that's why we prefer to shop online from the smug comfort of our homes.
Amazon was the first retailer to bring Black Friday over to the UK, offering customers online discounts and deals on the same day as the sales in the US. Supermarket Asda was next, creating some serious fuss (and physical fights, for real) with huge discounts on TVs and tech in-store.
Soon the rest of the UK caught on to the potential pre-Christmas profit and the rest is history.
