Remember when ASOS started sending people really long jeans and Twitter enjoyed a right old laugh about the situation? Well, it seems as though Pretty Little Thing has decided to follow suit, selling a pair of red trousers that legit could only be worn by someone on stilts.

@psychedelime tweeted a pic of her new purchases to her followers, asking how PLT could get it so wrong.

And since then, the Tweet has received 123 thousand likes as people try to get to the bottom of the situation.

According to @psychedelime, she ordered a size 6 but they are so long that she even struggles to wear them with very high heels.

And it seems as though she isn't the only one who's had the same problem. Other PLT fans popped up in the comments to show Dan that she is not alone in her plight.

There were red flippers all over the place.

Everyone's clicking on...

This person was even brave enough to wear theirs outside in the real world.

Pretty Little Thing has responded to the comments, suggesting that perhaps the petite range would be a more appropriate place to shop.

And while the majority of people are comically outraged by the long trouser saga, there are some very tall people out there that are really happy there is a new range of trousers they can try.
