Remember when in 1999/2000/2001 you thought it was cool to own clothes/stationary/bed sheets emblazoned with the words 'Baby Girl', or 'Groovy Chick', or simply 'Babe'?
Your first hotmail account was probably something like baby_girl1988@hotmail.com and you likely used it to talk to all the boys you fancied at school via MSN because IRL was too scary. All while listening to Peter Andre's Mysterious Girl.
And guess what guys? We can all be 'baby girls' once again thanks to Forever 21 not leaving it alone.
SIGH.
The brand is trying to bring back this unfortunate noughties trend with a new line of 'Baby Girl' clothing.
First, they plastered the phrase on T-shirts - these are both £13 each available on their online store.
And they even tried the '90s/noughties mash-up by embroidering the phrase onto a satin choker (£5).
But the product that is really concerning us is the 'Baby Girl' trucker hat which is waaaay to reminiscent of some of the worst clothing days we've ever experienced. You can buy this black mesh and white hat with sickly-sweet pink bubble writing for just £9. What a bargain.
We'll leave it up to you whether you decide you're ready to go back to the Baby Girl phase or not!
