It's that time of year once again — The BRIT awards are here, and for the first time in the award show's 50-year history, the event is taking place outside of London. Northerners rejoice, as Manchester has been chosen as the location for the biggest night in UK music, 2026 edition. Speaking to The Guardian, the BRIT awards chair Stacey Tang said the move was about recognising the geographical diversity of the country’s music talent. “Creativity doesn’t happen in one postcode in the UK … so the idea that the biggest night in music should always be in London, I think, is ageing out”.
And while tonight is all about the sound, it's no secret that music and fashion go hand-in-hand. That's why we've been sat eagerly awaiting the red carpet to be rolled out at the Co-op Live Arena, to see what some of our favourite pop girlies (and guys) have chosen to wear. Another pop girlie who knows how to make a statement on the carpet (we'll never forget the bum dress), CMAT chose to wear the opening look from burgeoning talent Maximilian Raynor's Autumn/Winter 2026 collection that was shown at London Fashion Week, fresh off the runway.
Gene and Anaïs Gallagher
The 3 stripes quite literally run in their family, so serious props to Gene and Anaïs Gallagher for paying homage to their rock royalty roots in adidas Superstars. Anaïs's adidas Originals slim 3-stripes track top is a JD Sports exclusive, so run don't walk to copy her look.
Cat Burns

Rose Gray is giving us ethereal fairy in this cascading blue number, from MYAT who made her London Fashion Week debut for Autumn/Winter 2026 last week. Paired with Jimmy Choo sandals, the colour is perfectly complemented by her red hair.

Tems is serving high-key drama in this all-white ensemble — we love a puffy shoulder moment. She also opted for a Jimmy Choo sandal.
Jordan Stephens
Proving that Jade isn't the only stylish one in their relationship, Jordan Stephens wears a chocolate brown suit by Labrum. Extra points for the adidas Superstars on his feet and furry hat on his head.
Rachel Chinouriri

She started her own magazine, Sister, in 2012 whilst at university. Focused around feminism, fashion and culture, it went on to produce 12 globally stocked print issues, as well as countless events and partnerships. She closed the magazine in 2023.
