As the whole of the U.K. turned its attentions to London's Royal Festival Hall for the BAFTAs last night, just across the pond in the US of A there was a whole other major awards night taking place at exactly the same time... Yep, the 18th February 2024 marked the 49th edition of the People's Choice Awards, that this year took place at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California.
If you're not already up to speed on your awards season trivia, the People's Choice Awards are a celebration of all the year's best films, music, television and pop culture moments â and as the name suggests, these are voted on and chosen exclusively by the public. Naturally, then, it's a *huge* night for Hollywood's biggest celebs, who pull out all the stops for their red carpet appearance on the night.
