Sienna Miller
Samir Hussein//Getty ImagesSienna Miller looked like an angelic dream in white tulle at The Fashion Awards 2025 presented by Pandora. The actress donned the totally see-through design straight from the Givenchy spring/summer 2026 runway, adding white pants underneath and statement fluffy mules on her feet. Shoulder-grazing drop earrings that resembled mini disco balls could just be glimpsed beneath her tousled beachy waves that completed the ethereal boho ensemble.
Amelia Gray Hamlin
Neil Mockford//Getty ImagesAlso in attendance at The Fashion Awards 2025 presented by Pandora was Amelia Gray Hamlin, whose microscopic subtly sheer sequin mini was revealed to be from H&M's upcoming collaboration with Stella McCartney. The collection won't be available until spring 2026, but it's safe to say this number is serving plenty of party season inspo right now. Gold strappy sandals and a coordinating glitter belt are the perfect finishing touches.

Rita Ora
Karwai Tang//Getty ImagesRita Ora is no stranger to a naked dress or two, but The Fashion Awards 2025 red carpet may have seen her most plunging look to date – a slinky silver Tom Ford number with a neckline that dipped below her navel and an equally daring central thigh split. Blue heeled pumps and slicked back hair matched the sleekness of the overall look.
Sydney Sweeney
Michael Buckner//Getty ImagesSydney Sweeney put her own spin on ‘knight in shining armour’ when she attended Variety's Power of Women event on October 29th, wearing a stunning silver chainmail gown by Christian Cowan. The actress looked *so* glamorous in the figure-hugging dress and left little to the imagination, choosing to go braless and free the nip in the totally sheer design. Subtle sparkling earrings coordinated with the glitz of her gown and could just be peeked beneath her fresh blonde bob. Consider this party szn outfit inspo!

Maya Jama
Dave Benett//Getty ImagesThe Love Island presenter hit up a London Fashion Week party in an appropriately fabulous ensemble. Namely, a George Trochopoulos design fashioned entirely out of see-through black tulle cut to an extreme figure-hugging silhouette. The gown was finished with a tactile tasselled hem for added drama. Layering a simple black bra and knickers beneath the sheer number, Maya styled her bobbed hair in side-parted loose waves and went sans-jewellery to let the dress do all the talking.
Dua Lipa
Ahead of her 30th birthday, Dua Lipa started celebrations early in Ibiza alongside friends, family and her fiancé, Callum Turner. For the occasion, she donned a custom, barely-there Jacquemus design. The dress in question was entirely backless and almost sideless too, appearing to have a built-in thong. The extreme cut-outs continued below her waistband, spanning her hips and across her derrière, too. It's not quite her birthday suit, but it's pretty close!

Daisy Edgar-Jones
Gotham//Getty ImagesWe loved all of Daisy Edgar-Jones' red carpet 'fits on the Twisters promo run, but it's her see-through black dress that really blew us away (geddit?). Saoirse-Monica Jackson
John Phillips//Getty ImagesSaoirse-Monica Jackson attended the British Vogue and Netflix celebration for the 2024 BAFTA Television Awards in a truly gorgeous Mithridate see-through skirt and top co-ord. Constructed from a pale blue transparent tulle fabric, the two-piece was embroidered with dragonfly and nature motifs, strategically placed to prevent a free-the-nip moment as Saoirse-Monica went braless beneath the design. She added a pair of high-waisted knickers in the same hue beneath the long-line skirt that featured a thigh-high leg slit. White platform heeled sandals completed the look.
Yep, naked dressing is going nowhere with *every* celeb getting in on the look. To quote the actress' iconic Derry Girls character Erin, "Look, I wanted to be an individual but my ma wouldn’t let me.” It may not be a new trend, but the feminine aura of Saoirse-Monica's 'fit sets it apart from the rest, IMO. Safe to say, this look will be living rent-free in our heads for a while.
