Gwyneth Paltrow might be wearing the boldest dress at the 2026 Oscars. The Marty Supreme star walked the red carpet in a white strapless gown, which from the front seemed pretty simple. But the side featured a dramatic slit, which spanned from the very top of the dress to the very bottom. Literally didn’t know such a thing was gravitationally possible, but here we are!

The dress in question is an ivory silk gown from Giorgio Armani Privé. And if you look closely enough, Gwyneth was wearing sparkling sheer trousers underneath the dress.

It was Gwyneth's first appearance at the ceremony for 11 years and though she was not nominated for any awards last night, she did appear on stage to present the inaugural award for Best Casting, which went to Cassandra Kulukundis for One Battle After Another.

Gwyneth recently chatted to the Hollywood Reporter about all the awards buzz surrounding Marty Supreme and said her volume of calls about new projects has definitely “increased" since she starred in the movie.

“I’ve not said yes to anything yet,” she added. "I thought about a couple of things, but timing-wise, I have a lot to manage with my company. I also don’t need to rush. I think if I was going to step back into this, I would do it differently than I did it last time. I started doing this when I was 18, and it’s like I got dropped on top of a train, and the train just went."

She added of taking on more projects, “If I’m going to do it again, I’m going to take a page out of [Leonardo DiCaprio’s] book and be more discerning.”
