The first season of Celebrity Traitors is officially here and while I can’t wait to get stuck into this new series, I am most excited to see what Claudia Winkleman will be wearing – obvs.
Cosmo UK has already analysed every tweed jacket, jumper and ankle boot she has worn previously on the show, but something has to be said for her signature leggings that have made a return for the Celeb special – and, good news, we have found a pair which are reduced by 45% in the Amazon Prime Day sale, taking the price from £58 down to £31.88.
Throughout the series, Claudia has championed the humble pair of leggings, showing they can be more than just a functional wardrobe staple. In the first episode of Celebrity Traitors (which aired tonight, Wednesday 8 October) she wore a black pair, styled with Givenchy boots and an over-sized, show-stopping black cape. Once again, her stylist Sinead McKeefry has nailed the brief.
As for the leggings, there’s a reason why these are her favourite – and have made an appearance on the show time and time again. The SPANX Seamless Leggings are super cosy, made out of Sensil EcoCare Nylon that fit snug around your legs and tummy. They are also very warm, an essential for the Scottish Highlands.
But of course, it’s all about how they are styled. Claudia usually pairs the leggings with a boxy, over-sized top (something like a button down jacket or, as seen in tonight’s episode, a cape) as well as a statement pair of boots, elevating them way beyond being just a pair of leggings.
Unfortunately the Givenchy boots are no longer in stock – and, even if they were, they’d cost you a pretty penny. Instead, the fold-over style can also be found on Amazon for a fraction of the price.
There we have it – our first look at Claudia’s Celebrity Traitors wardrobe for 2025. We will continue to report on her fits from the season, but I have a feeling there are many more fingerless gloves, knee-high boots and over-sized capes to come.
