Sabrina Carpenter is attending the 2025 Met Gala for “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” and at first, she left her hotel in a cosy fur jacket:

And then? Then we got this: a pantsless leotard look in the literal colour espresso:

OBSESSED!!!!

Wondering how she nailed both the Met Gala theme and her own personal style aesthetic (yes, we started singing ‘Espresso’ in our heads as soon as we saw this 'fit)? Sabrina's look was obvs a custom creation courtesy of Louis Vuitton and consisting of a brown bodysuit with thin black pinstripes, a cropped matching blazer complete with shirt cuffs and collar, and let's not forget the trailing trains creating a barely-there train. Bare legs and sky-high platform heels completed the look.

It's fine tailoring paired with just a dash of revenge dressing – because yes, her ex Barry Keoghan was there. We love to see it!

Sabrina told W Magazine in 2024 when asked about her fashion aesthetic,“I’ve always had trouble answering this question, because when you’re a young woman, it can change and fluctuate a lot, and you don’t always want to label it. Some days, I feel confident in short skirts and tall boots, and other days, I feel more confident in baggy jeans and baggy t-shirts.”

As for her style inspiration, she added, “I look at old photos of Brigitte Bardot and Jane Birkin and even young Dolly [Parton]—a lot of the things they wore feel very close to the things that I like to wear now. Obviously, I also take a lot from my mom when she was younger. She used to wear these cute little sets, and I feel like now I’m very much a set girl. I find inspiration all over the place. It’s been a minute since I’ve named-dropped Rihanna in an interview, because I told myself I had to slow down, but Rihanna is always one of my main style icons as well.”
