Syndey Sweeney isn't done posting vacay photos just yet. After sharing a slew of snaps to Instagram from her recent girls' safari trip, the actress has again taken to the social media platform to give her followers an inside look into how she's spending her well-earned downtime.
What's she up to now, you ask? Having channelled Lara Croft as she hung out of an open-sided Jeep in a muted colour palette of khaki, olive and beige that expertly nailed safari chic, Sydney is now cosplaying The Little Mermaid in a series of underwater bikini pics, switching up her look to feature the teeny tiniest thong two-piece.
Sharing one photo along with a video montage of short clips edited together, Syndey can be seen submerged underwater in a glass-sided swimming pool, striking a series of poses as she sinks and floats in slow-motion.
The comments section is full of people all saying the same thing, with one person writing, “she's a princess, she's an adventurer, she's a mermaid, she's everything ❤️” and another simply adding, “real life mermaid.”
While she might not have a tail, Sydney's pool attire for the occasion is a barely-there string bikini consisting of a white triangle top with black piped edging and coordinating high-leg bikini bottoms in a *very* cheeky thong cut. The design is the exact inverse of the monochrome swimwear Dua Lipa was pictured wearing back in October, but is actually theLumi Top and Jones Bottom from sustainable Australian swimwear label FAE. Sydney's exact swimwear is in the lace and denim colourway and is still in stock in every size!
Syd is no stranger to a bikini pic. She kicked off 2025 with a shot of her lounging on a jet ski in a brown bikini and routinely documents her swim attire for her followers when she's on holiday.
Last April, she even ditched a shirt in favour of pairing her double denim jacket and shorts combo with just a navy string bikini top.
Syd's underwater circus certainly beats the handstand competitions in the pool we get up to when we're on holiday... We need to up our game.
